Occupation: Your job must be on the Skilled Occupation List of the state or territory where you want to live. This list shows the jobs that are in demand in that area.
State or Territory Nomination: You need to be nominated by a state or territory government in Australia. Each state and territory has its own list of needed jobs and its own rules for nominating people.
Points Test: You need to score at least 65 points on a points test. Points are given based on things like your age, English skills, work experience and education.
Skills Assessment: You need to have your skills checked by an official Australian authority to make sure your skills meet Australian standards.
Age: You must be under 45 years old when you get the invitation to apply for the visa.
English Proficiency: You need to show that you can speak and understand English well. This is usually done by taking an English test.
Expression of Interest (EOI): You need to submit an EOI through SkillSelect, an online system that helps the Australian government find skilled workers.
Your occupation must be listed on the 190 NSW occupation list
